Division Overview: Chemical & Process Analysis Division (C&PAD)
C&PAD provides advanced analytical and technical support for:
- Crude oil and refined products
- Water chemistry
- Solid material analysis
- Operational facility support
The division also supports R&D, technology development, and corporate consultancy for engineering teams across Aramco.
Key Responsibilities
As a Fuels Expert, your primary role is to lead fuel-related activities by combining technical analysis, research support, and regulatory knowledge. You will:
- Engage with internal teams to expand support for fuel and additive testing
- Identify capability gaps and propose solutions
- Support fuel-related research projects and provide technical input
- Develop innovative fuel offerings for marketing purposes
- Conduct investigative studies related to fuel quality and performance
- Apply project management tools to plan and deliver technical solutions
- Mentor junior scientists and technicians
- Represent Aramco in global standards organizations (e.g., ASTM)
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in fuel development, testing, and evaluation
- Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of transportation fuels and fuel additives
Familiarity with international fuel specifications and regulations
Understanding of the entire fuel lifecycle—from refinery to end use
Hands-on skills in fuel/additive testing and analysis
Strong technical leadership and research project experience
Understanding of sustainable fuel technologies and trends
